Ayushman Bhava program has been started from Sunday on the auspicious occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday to provide free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh to all the people. Rajya Sabha member Prof. Rakesh Sinha has launched this program in his adopted village Suja in Begusarai.
On this occasion Prof. Rakesh Sinha interacted with the villagers and appealed to more and more people to take advantage of this important scheme. He said that the Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana launched by Narendra Modi is a revolutionary step for the poor. Now the poor do not need money for treatment, they are not worried.
It is noteworthy that under the Ayushman Bhava program, a special campaign for making Ayushman cards will be launched from today and Ayushman cards will be made and distributed to the eligible beneficiaries. When the special campaign will be run in the entire district, then by taking advantage of this scheme, all the remaining people will get a lot of relief in future treatment. They will be able to get free treatment in any selected hospital anywhere in the country.
DM Roshan Kushwaha said that making Ayushman card has become much easier than before. Now eligible beneficiaries can make their Ayushman card through Common Service Center with the help of self and Asha. Eligible beneficiaries can create their card through Ayushman App. Any citizen who wants to help people in this program can make Ayushman Card through Ayushman App.
All ASHAs have been trained to make Ayushman cards. Ayushman Sabha will be organized at the Gram Panchayat level on October 2. In which Ayushman cards will be distributed and the beneficiaries undergoing treatment under the scheme will share their experiences. The list of eligible beneficiaries and empaneled hospitals will also be displayed in the meeting. In this, cooperation of Jeevika, Anganwadi workers, public distribution system vendors and public representatives will also be taken.
