Patna/Nawada, 19 September (H.S.). Patna High Court on Tuesday issued an order to take action to preserve the caves of Lomas Rishi and Yajnavalkya Rishi mountain, four kilometers away from Rajauli block headquarters of Nawada district and develop them as tourist places.
Also asked to take action in the light of the letter sent by Nawada DM to the Principal Secretary of the Tourism Department to develop this area. The High Court said that purposeful action should be taken towards developing this area as a tourist destination. Along with this, the public petition filed was executed.
The division bench of Chief Justice Justice K Vinod Chandran and Justice Partha Sarathi gave this order after hearing. Let us tell you that Vinay Kumar Singh, a resident of Chapra village, had filed a PIL in the High Court to save Lomas Rishi Mountain.

Chandrashekhar, former SDO of Rajauli, after studying ancient religious texts, described this area as the place of worship of seven sages and recommended developing it as a tourist destination in the interest of the country and society. On which the High Court has also now approved. The then Rajauli SDO Chandrashekhar Azad, through the DM, had recommended the government to declare these areas as tourist areas considering them as the places of worship of the seven sages.
